Join Our Team at Guy Carpenter. A new opportunity has arisen in the Relationship Management and Global Claims team, part of Client Support Services (CSS). This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful team of Global Relationship Managers that partner with the business, clients, and Brokers across Guy Carpenter. This is a hybrid role that requires someone to work at least 3 days in the London office.
We will count on you to:
- Provide a holistic view across the entire servicing value chain, connecting the production areas and post-placement areas, ensuring our claims value proposition is part of our sales culture.
- Be the first point of contact for Brokers and senior executives within the Ceded Re departments of our clients.
- Advocate and be the voice of the client, representing their interests with their business partners.
- Provide insightful management information by partnering with MI teams to design and provide regular reporting to all appropriate stakeholders.
- Explore business development opportunities with brokers.
- Ensure that skillsets are continually reviewed and enhanced.
- Build and maintain value-added partnerships with strategic markets to improve performance cycle times.
- Demonstrate a pipeline of excellence and succession by coaching colleagues.
What you need to have:
- Strong knowledge of reinsurance principles, practices, and procedures is essential.
- Experience in Pro-Rata and XOL claims handling within the insurance or reinsurance industry.
- Experience of working with senior stakeholders in the reinsurance sector is essential.
- Experience of working with all aspects of post-placement activities.
- Ability to analyse data, seeking trends and translating this into valued insights for the business and our clients.
- Be able to articulate and demonstrate positive results for clients and the business.
