Resourcing Group are actively recruiting for Multi Tradesmen with a Plumbing or Carpentry core trade to work on behalf of a regional maintenance contractor assisting with undertaking repairs & maintenance, bathroom & kitchen fitting or fire prevention related works on Local Authority properties located in either Cheltenham or Swindon.

These are two separate mobilisations on similar contracts in Cheltenham and Swindon. So please apply for the role if interested in 1 or either of these, and if qualified you will be presented under your chosen region.

The Multi Trade Operative role:

1. Previous experience on Repairs & Maintenance / FRA Fire Prevention or Kitchen and Bathroom Fitting contracts.
2. Undertaking multi trade work in occupied, residential properties to complete second fix work including joinery works, some Plumbing, patch Plastering.
3. The work is primarily lone working with the support and guidance of a Foreperson and Contract Manager.
4. The ability to work professionally and considerately within people's homes in a customer facing environment, always considering yours and others Health and Safety.

What will you bring as a Multi Trade Operative?

1. Qualified to an NVQ 2 level is desired or similar professional body, in a core internal trade.
2. Experience in residential maintenance and repairs work is essential, experience of working as a Multi Trader, specifically with basic carpentry expertise.
3. Excellent customer service skills and strong commitment to retaining these standards whilst working in the professional environment, with the ability to ensure customers feel safe and comfortable in your company.
4. Possession of a full current UK Driving license and Van is essential to complete the Multi Trade Operative role. With a company van provided if you opt for permanent employment.

Package:

1. Competitive salaries between £18 - £24 per hour, depending on location and experience.
2. Full time, 5 day working week and option for optional overtime on a long term secured contract.
