Carpenter Foreman Wanted - Cambridge Refurbishment Projects

We are looking for a hands-on Carpenter Foreman to lead our team on refurbishment projects within Cambridge colleges.

What We're Looking For:

1. Extensive experience in refurbishment projects, especially in heritage buildings and educational institutions.
2. Proven leadership as a Carpenter Foreman, with the ability to manage a team of skilled carpenters.
3. Familiarity with working in colleges and universities, understanding the unique challenges of working in occupied buildings.
4. Ability to read blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
5. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
6. Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, project managers, and suppliers.
7. Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and supervise the carpentry team on refurbishment projects.
2. Manage project schedules, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
3. Oversee the restoration and preservation of historic structures.
4. Coordinate with college staff, project managers, and stakeholders.
5. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
