Job Title – Cargo Customer Service Coordinator

Department/Sector – Projects Division

Job Location – West London

Salary – £22k – £28k

Our client is recruiting an experienced Cargo Customer Service Coordinator who will be involved in the day-to-day handling of project cargo operations.

In the role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day export and import operations. You will be in control of arranging collection and dispatch via air, sea, and road freight.

You must have great customer service skills as you will be dealing with clients and suppliers daily.

Our client is an independent industrial group that ranks among the world’s top 10 in transport and logistics, specializing in intercontinental air and ocean freight.

Having freight forwarding experience in sea and air would be a significant advantage to your application.

You must have a self-motivated, flexible approach to work and demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day operations (AIR, SEA, Road) (Export/Import)
  • Arranging collection and dispatch via airfreight, sea freight, or road freight
  • Liaising with suppliers and clients
  • Arranging inspection, packing/repacking where required
  • Handling quotations and invoicing
  • Customs clearance and documentation preparation and control
  • General office administration duties or any other duties to be assigned, with no limitation to the scope above
Key Skills/Experience Needed:
  • Some industry experience
  • General understanding of shipping modes and terms
  • Computer literate with a good command of Outlook and Excel
  • Organized, committed, quick, accurate, and flexible candidate
  • Ability to work on own initiative and in a team
