Caretakers

Join our dedicated site operatives team, where we are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students. As an onsite Caretaker, you will play a vital role in maintaining the facilities and ensuring the security of our academies. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive workplace that values teamwork and professional growth.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the maintenance and upkeep of the academies' facilities.
  2. Ensure the security of the premises during your shift.
  3. Conduct regular inspections of the site to identify maintenance needs.
  4. Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies that may arise.
  5. Assist with the setup and breakdown of events and activities as required.
  6. Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and incidents.
  7. Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a safe environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  1. Previous experience in a caretaking or maintenance role is preferred.
  2. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Basic technical skills in plumbing, electrical, or general maintenance.
  6. Flexibility to work in a shift rota (6.30am - 2.30pm, 8am - 4pm, or 11.30am - 7.30pm).
  7. Valid driving licence may be advantageous.
