Caretaker

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Caretaker to join their team. This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive individual with strong DIY skills and a can-do attitude.

Role Overview:

1. Carry out general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, decorating, joinery, and basic electrical tasks.
2. Assist with deliveries, ensuring they are received and stored appropriately.
3. Maintain exterior areas, ensuring they are clean, safe, and well-presented.
4. Work with a wide range of people, requiring excellent communication skills.
5. Support health and safety compliance across the site.

What We're Looking For:

1. Strong DIY and maintenance skills.
2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
3. Good communication skills to engage with colleagues and external contractors.
4. Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations is an advantage.
5. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a positive, can-do attitude.

Job Details:

1. Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, 37.5 hours per week

3. Holidays: 22 days plus 2 statutory days
4. Advanced DBS check required
