Caretaker | Immediate Start | Temp to Perm | £13.5-£15 Per Hour | Chiswick, West London

Reeson Education is looking for a dedicated and reliable Caretaker to join a welcoming and well-maintained primary school in Chiswick. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering a great chance to become a valued member of the school's facilities team.

The Role:

1. Position: Caretaker.
2. Salary: £13.5-£15 per hour, based on experience.
3. Location: Chiswick
4. Hours: Flexible - full or half days available

6. Contract: Temp to Perm.

As a Caretaker, you will play a key role in maintaining the school's premises, ensuring it remains a safe, clean, and functional space for staff and pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the general upkeep and cleanliness of the school buildings and outdoor areas.
2. Open and close the school each day, securing the premises.
3. Carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs, reporting larger issues as needed.
4. Monitor heating, lighting, and security systems, ensuring everything is in working order.
5. Assist with setting up classrooms, halls, and spaces for school events.
6. Support with general site duties to keep the school running smoothly.

What We're Looking For:

1. Previous experience as a Caretaker, Site Assistant, or Facilities Worker (school experience is a bonus but not essential).
2. A practical and proactive approach to site maintenance.
3. A strong understanding of health & safety procedures.
4. Reliability, good organisational skills, and the ability to work independently.
5. An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
