Our client has a vacancy for an experienced Skills & Development Adviser to join their delivery team working on a variety of dynamic and motivational employability contracts. They work with both unemployed adults as well as with young people to provide careers information, advice and guidance, and personal support to those at risk of becoming NEET.

This role involves:

1. Individual diagnostic advice work;
2. Individual information, advice and support work;
3. Delivering dynamic personal development and career management courses to groups;
4. Meeting required contractual performance targets.

About You
You will have:

1. Experience of working with adults or young people, on a 1:1 basis or in groups;
2. Experience of delivering Careers Information, Advice and Guidance;
3. Ability to manage a caseload of individuals;
4. Ability to establish and maintain effective working partnerships;
5. Ability to keep accurate and up-to-date records with a good attention to detail;
6. Ability to achieve targets and meet deadlines;
7. A flexible approach to working hours.

Whilst not essential for delivery of all contracts, applications would be particularly welcome from practitioners qualified to level 4 or level 6 in careers information, advice and guidance.
