Care Team Leader

Location: Birchwood House & Lodge, Lincoln
Salary: £13.15 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

If so, Glenholme Birchwood House & Lodge in Lincoln would like to hear from you. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Team Leader to help shape the future of high-quality care for individuals with complex needs and learning disabilities.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage a team of support workers, ensuring consistent delivery of person-centred care
  2. Develop and maintain individualised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
  3. Oversee the quality and safety of care, identifying areas for improvement
  4. Build meaningful relationships with service users, families, and external partners
  5. Provide hands-on care including medication administration, meal preparation, and personal support
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations
Requirements:
  1. Experience in a leadership role within the care sector, preferably with individuals with learning disabilities
  2. Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
  3. Compassionate and empathetic approach
  4. Knowledge of CQC standards and relevant health and social care legislation
  5. Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
  6. A genuine commitment to improving the lives of individuals with complex needs

It is especially suited for those transitioning from long-term hospital placements or placements that have previously broken down. Birchwood Lodge is a specialist supported living environment for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and complex needs.
