An established healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Band 5 Care Practitioner to join their Treatment Room Service. This role involves assessing patients for wound care and leg ulcer management across multiple clinic sites. The successful candidate will work autonomously yet collaboratively, ensuring timely and effective care for patients. To work in a clinic based setting, assessing patients who attend for wound care, leg ulcer management, including Lower limb Assessments, Injections, Catheter Care and Ear Irrigation.
The Treatment Room service covers 4 clinic sites across South Sefton and 4 clinic sites across North Sefton. The successful candidate will need to be able to work autonomously whilst demonstrating a team approach and be willing to travel across all 4 sites.
An opportunity has arisen within the Treatment Room Service in Sefton Place for a Band 5 Care Practitioner. This is a permanent post and will be 37.5 hours per week.
The successful candidates will be working across various clinic sites within Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust. An existing knowledge of Tissue Viability and Leg Ulcer Management would be advantageous. The primary function of the role is to provide proactive, responsive services that address the care needs of patients within a defined neighbourhood. The service operates appointment led clinics with fast turnover of patients.
For the Treatment Room Service, there is a requirement to move and travel between clinic sites. The service aims to operate 7 days a week, including bank holidays. There is a requirement within this post to be able to travel across localities to various clinic sites for work purposes.
