Job description

Ensure that Care Assistants are appropriately rostered and allocated to customers so that care is delivered on time, safely and in line with customer's wishes (as agreed in their care and support plan), and aligns with the agreed availability of Care Assistants. To strive to achieve optimised scheduling that meets the needs of both customers and carers.

Responsibilities:
  • Organise and coordinate weekly rotas and care services.
  • Ensure all care documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with CQC regulations.
  • Make required adjustments to rotas as needed to provide cover for emergency situations, staff holidays, or sickness.
  • Able to use IT software such as scheduling systems.
  • Distribute staff rotas at agreed intervals.
  • Update and evaluate Care plans and ongoing needs of clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and care staff team.
  • Liaise with external healthcare professionals and organisations to ensure the delivery of person-centered care.
  • Experience in a care or healthcare setting, preferably in coordinating care services or managing care staff.
  • Carry out on-call coordinating duties.
  • Assist in recruiting and training.
  • Experience in rotas and office administration.
Working Hours:

Monday - Friday - 9am - 5pm
