Care Assistant to support a 10 year old boy who lives in the Chester le Street area - Chester le Street - DH2

We are looking for a Care Assistant for a 10 year old boy who has autism and learning disabilities. He is non-verbal and requires high levels of care and supervision, including taking him out and about in the community.

Hours / Wage:

Wage rate is £12 per hour.

1. 5 hours per week during term time.
2. 10 hours per week during school holidays.

Duties:

Your role will be to support the child with social activities, including taking him to the park or on walks.

Additional Requirements / Information:

We are looking for someone who has experience working with children with autism and learning difficulties. A car driver with their own car would be an advantage. An enhanced DBS will be required, and the employer will cover the cost.
