Title of Position: Care Assistant

Our lovely 40-bed residential care facility, which is situated in Taunton in a peaceful area of Bishops Hull, offers assistance to those who are getting older. We are seeking a kind individual that will integrate well with our team and is capable of caring for others.

Duties:

• Give each person compassionate, dignified personal attention and support.
• Help with everyday life tasks, such as clothing, grooming, bathing, and using the restroom.
• Help with meals and offer dietary assistance.
• Accompany people to events or appointments.
• Offer people emotional support and companionship.
• Keep track of and report any modifications to the person’s condition.

Requirements:

• While not necessary, prior experience in a comparable position is preferred.
• A kind and compassionate disposition.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
• The capacity to function both alone and together.

Hourly wage: £12.21.

Hours anticipated: 33–44 each week
