Care Assistant for Young Person (P/T) @ £14 in Patchway - BRISTOL - BS34

My daughter has special needs, and we are looking for a PA to support her to attend activities and in the home. The right candidate will be energetic and engaging as they will need to accompany her on activities.

Main Duties

To support with:

• Having fun and supporting accessing the community - need support to feel confident when in the community.
• Taking her to activities such as funfair rides, going to the park, bike rides, air hop, swimming.
• Support with baking.

Essential Criteria

• Must have use of own vehicle. Mileage is included for specific activities.
• Non-smoker and no vapes.
• Have a kind, caring, patient, and fun personality is essential.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience with BSL.

• Responsible, reliable, and trustworthy.
• Excellent timekeeping and punctuality.
• Good communication and social skills.
• To respect confidentiality and privacy.

Location

Patchway, South Gloucestershire.

Hours

Two evenings per week over 5 hours, to be agreed.

Pay

£14.00 Per Hour, plus mileage for up to 60 miles per week @ 45 pence.

Holiday

5.6 weeks per year including bank holidays (pro rata for part time).

Start Date

ASAP.
