We are looking for a Care Assistant to provide companionship and support for an individual living with Lewy Bodies Dementia. The ideal candidate will help with daily activities while promoting independence.
- Provide companionship and engage in conversation.
- Assist with household tasks, including guiding around the house.
- Help with personal care, including finding appropriate clothing and ensuring they are worn correctly.
- Warm up meals prepared by the individual's husband.
- Assist with medication management as needed.
- Support activities such as gardening, walking, shopping, and crafts.
- Be flexible with hours, including potential longer shifts and occasional evening work.
Initial hours are Monday and Tuesday from 9 AM to 4 PM, with flexibility required for additional hours on 1-2 days a month and occasional evenings.
