Care Assistant for a person P/T@ £14.27/hr in Sittingbourne - Sittingbourne - ME10

Location: Sittingbourne.

Hours: 25 hours per week over 3 days. Specific days will be communicated.

Wages: £14.27 per hour.

Duration: Permanent.

About Me: I am a gentleman with Cerebral Palsy, using a wheelchair and deaf. I live in my own home. I am kind and friendly, a skilled photographer who enjoys taking photographs of trains, wildlife, architecture, and more.

Role Requirements: I am looking for a Personal Assistant (PA) to help and support me in living my life. The PA will assist me on some days for social activities and hobbies, including traveling by train and using my wheelchair-accessible car for outings and visits with friends. A full driving license is required.

Daily Living Tasks: The PA will undertake daily living tasks such as preparing meals, general housework, grocery shopping, and supporting me in attending health appointments when necessary. Additionally, the PA may accompany me on holidays or breaks, which could involve 14 – 16 hours a day for 7 to 10 days for one year.

Ideal Candidate: I am looking for a PA who is understanding, reliable, kind, and has a positive outlook.

Employment Details: This is a permanent position with contracted hours, annual leave entitlement, pension, and salary paid every 4 weeks. This post is subject to a DBS check and satisfactory references.
