Seeking a Care Assistant to support a lady living with Functional Neurological Disorder which causes her to have unpredictable seizures that lead to low energy in the days following.

My client is looking for support with daily living tasks to help her remain as independent as possible.

Support includes:

1. Batch Cooking - 2 hours once a week to prepare food for when she feels unwell.
2. Support and encouragement with showering - 3 times per week for 30 minutes.
3. 2 hours split over the week for cleaning, laundry, and ironing to conserve her energy for family time.

My client would ideally like someone who is experienced with domestic tasks and running a home. She is looking for a friendly and encouraging candidate who can take a person-centred approach, be sensitive to her preferences, and show initiative while working independently.

The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, with the cost to be met by the employer.
