Job description

We are looking for a Care Assistant to provide residents with a detailed care plan, and assist with all aspects of personal care during the day, ensuring the residents maintain independence and dignity, using a person-centred approach.

Rate of Pay:
Weekdays £11.68
Weekends £12.68

Contract Type:
Permanent

Contract Hours:
36 Hours
Twilight 4pm to 10pm

Location:
Reading - Lakeside

Duties And Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To:

  • To provide the care detailed in the residents' individualised care plan using a person-centred approach.
  • Supporting residents with all aspects of personal care whilst maintaining and promoting independence and ensuring privacy and respect.
  • Support and assist residents with their meals as required in a dignified and respectful manner ensuring that a pleasant and calm atmosphere is maintained.
  • To identify and meet the social, emotional and cultural needs of residents and participate in the organisation of person-centred engagement.
  • Support residents to use the environment to its full potential, including each home's outdoor living space.
