Description of the Job:
For individuals who are currently in the UK on a skilled worker’s VISA, CAS Care is providing sponsorship. This relates to moving to New Forest’s New Milton. This post is for our community clients’ hours. For this position, you must be able to drive a car, have a valid UK driver’s license, and be prepared to move to our company’s New Forest site. The hourly rate is £13.25; on bank holidays, it is £17.51. The starting rate is 35p per mile. For both full-time and part-time positions, CAS Care Solutions is seeking kind, compassionate people to join our expanding team. Adaptable to obligations in life to incorporate work from every other weekend.
What does my role include?
- Aiding individuals with their everyday tasks, including household chores (cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, laundry, and light gardening), personal care (helping them use the restroom, bathe or shower, brush their teeth, change sanitary products, and make sure they are wearing clean and dry clothes, etc.)
- Assisting individuals with physical, learning, or mobility impairments
- Assisting individuals with eating and drinking, and making sure that their nutrition and hydration are a primary concern and recorded (including preparing wholesome meals for the clients)
- Helping to give medication, encouraging and monitoring the use of medication, or helping with medication management.
- Providing personalised care programs that are adapted to their needs.
- Providing companionship, caring for and walking dogs (if necessary), and making sure individuals have activities all day long—even if it’s simply lounging with a book or watching their favourite shows or movies—are ways to encourage people’s mental and physical activity.
- For every care shift you work, you should write thorough and individual care notes. You should also keep track of any changes in our customers’ needs and let management know about them.
- Maintaining a professional demeanour while fostering a cordial relationship with the clientele.
- All of the aforementioned “What’s in it for me?” questions will be completely covered in your training.
- Starting at 35p per mile, mileage is compensated in between care shifts.
