Job description

We are seeking a motivated Car Sales Consultant to join our team in the Stourbridge area.

As a Car Sales Consultant, you will have a minimum of 12 months face-to-face sales experience, not necessarily in the car sales industry. You will be responsible for promoting and selling our products or services to potential customers. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to upsell, and a strong sales mindset.

Salary details: We can discuss the basic salary at the interview, and we offer a salary of GBP18,000 plus a strong commission structure to enable earnings of GBP45,000+. Company car and health benefits. This is a full-time role, and we pay strong commissions.

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday 08:30 - 18:00

Saturday 08:30 - 17:00

Sunday (every other) 10:00 - 16:00

5-day working week

You will need a full UK driving licence, preferably clean but with no more than 6 points. No previous bans.

As a Car Sales Consultant, you will be selling new and used vehicles, and if Motability accredited, these also.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and prospect potential customers through various channels.
  2. Conduct sales and product demonstrations to show features and benefits of vehicles.
  3. Understand customer needs and provide solutions to meet their requirements.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  5. Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

Skills required for a Car Sales Consultant:

  • Strong ability to upsell and close deals effectively.
