CAMHS Speech & Language Therapist

Job Title: Inpatient CAMHS SLT Band 6
Location: Staffordshire
Duration: Ongoing
Schedule: 22.5 hours per week (reduced part time hours considered, no weekends)
Start Date: Within 5 weeks
End Date: Ongoing, 4 months +
Rate of Pay: £23-26.50ph Umbrella (DOE)

What You'll Be Doing:

Join our team as a SLT and play a key role in improving the lives of Children with a range of mental health conditions. In this role, you will:

1. perform comprehensive patient assessments
2. create and implement personalised care plans
3. deliver evidence-based treatments to optimise patient outcomes
4. collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
5. maintain accurate patient records

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. a current and valid HCPC registration
2. experience working with Dysphagia
3. strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
5. a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working position requires availability from Monday - Friday, with flexibility where possible. The contract is on an ongoing basis with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
