North West Sussex CAMHS Service have an exciting opportunity for a permanent, Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health care and support to children and adolescents in the Horsham community.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide psychiatric assessments and treatment for children and adolescents.
2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
3. Supervise junior medical staff and provide training.
4. Engage with families and caregivers to support treatment plans.
5. Participate in clinical audits and contribute to service development.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
2. Completion of a recognized training program in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
3. Relevant experience in a CAMHS setting.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work as part of a team.
