Job description

Great opportunity to work as a Cage Repair Operative for our worldwide client based in Aylesbury.

The rate of pay is £12.21 per hour.

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, Monday to Friday, and the hours of work are:

  1. 7am to 4pm

Your Time at Work

As a Cage Repair Operative, your duties include:

Trolley Repairing:
  1. Conduct initial checks on the trolley noting areas requiring attention.
  2. Work systematically through amends required - setting aside for 'hard' repairs if necessary.
  3. Remove any debris from the wheels, ensuring the trolley is cosmetically pleasing.
  4. Carry out a further check to ensure all repairs have been made and the trolley is operating correctly.
  5. Conduct one final check to ensure there are no sharp edges, caster flow properly etc.
Trolley Handling
  1. Manage the movement of trolleys within the working environment appropriately and in line with Health & Safety.
  2. Use of a scanner to ensure every repair is scanned and recorded.
General:
  1. Keep your working area clean, tidy, and free of any foreign objects, throughout the day.
  2. All required PPE and Cowin uniforms must be worn at all times.
  3. Ensure you are familiar with, and abide by, the Employee Handbook and Policies and all relevant Risk Assessments assigned to the tasks you are being asked to carry out.
Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will be happy to carry out trolley repairs and maintenance and show good attention to detail. You will be happy to work as part of a team.

Applicants will have good tool proficiency and preventive maintenance skills. The ideal candidate will have welding expertise and the ability to skillfully operate tools to perform high-quality cage repairs efficiently.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
