Job Title: CAD Toolmaker
Location: Redditch
Salary: £17 - £20 per hour
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: Day shift, early finish on Friday

Are you an experienced Press Toolmaker with a strong background in toolmaking for the aerospace industry? We are seeking a skilled and adaptable professional to join our team, working on high-precision tooling projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manufacture, repair, and maintain press tools, jigs, and fixtures to support production.
2. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy in tooling.
3. Operate manual and CNC machining equipment to produce high-quality components.
4. Work closely with engineering and production teams to optimise tooling performance.
5. Utilise CAD software to design, modify, and improve tooling solutions.
6. Conduct fault-finding and troubleshooting on tooling issues to minimise downtime.
7. Ensure all work meets industry quality standards, including aerospace requirements.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Press Toolmaker within aerospace or precision engineering environment.
2. Strong understanding of press tooling, including progression and single-operation tools.
3. Proficiency in CAD software for tool design and modifications.
4. Ability to use manual and CNC machining equipment effectively.
5. Keen attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
6. Knowledge of industry standards and quality control processes.
