CAD Technician

We are currently seeking an experienced CAD Technician to join our Sheffield based client on a permanent basis.

Applicants must live a commutable distance from Sheffield. Due to the urgency of this role, we cannot wait for someone to relocate at this time.

CAD Technician – Office Based
Sheffield
£35,000 to £44,000 per annum
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Permanent

Our client is looking to recruit a CAD Technician to join their expanding team. Our client specializes in heart network projects that are both efficient and eco-friendly.

1. Design and delivery of new energy projects during the pre-construction and construction phases
2. Creating high quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on supplied designs and making modifications to existing drawings
3. Using a variety of CAD software including Revit, 2D and 3D models
4. Generating layout drawings from PointCloud files
5. Providing accurate, detailed and to scale drawings
6. Conducting site visits and undertaking surveys when required

1. Excellent design, technical and software skills
2. Product manufacturing for bespoke engineering OR civil engineering would be beneficial
3. 3-5 years experience in CAD engineering design role
4. Ability to produce detailed schematic representations of LTHW, DHW, chilled water, ventilation, electrical and control systems
5. Highly competent in AutoCAD 2D & 3D, Revit
6. Advantageous to have Inventor, SolidWorks, Solid Edge
