CAD Technician

Job Description

Elvet Recruitment are on the lookout for a client based in Newcastle. Following a period of growth, they require a number of CAD Technicians to process data gathered by Surveyors. The business is a well-renowned Surveying contractor, working on a variety of projects including Topographic, Environmental, and Hydrographic Surveying.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Translation of on-site survey information, including topographical survey observations and geospatial monitoring observations into drawings.
2. Produce 2D/3D as-built plans of the various surveys acquired by Land Surveyors.
3. Working with Point Clouds within AutoCAD to efficiently create drawings.
4. Formulating drawings of structures, tanks, and wastewater environments.

Experience Required:

1. At least 2-3 years experience working as a CAD Technician within Construction.
2. Ability to present and process data.
3. A HNC/HND within a Construction Field; however, a degree is also acceptable.
4. Full UK Driving License.
5. Previous use of AutoCAD.
6. Experience with GIS, N4CE, and Revit is also very beneficial.

Remuneration:

On offer is a package up to £35,000 (dependent on experience). This is a permanent position, and Elvet Recruitment Limited will be acting as an employment agency for permanent recruitment on behalf of our client.
