Job Description:

We are currently seeking a CAD Technician to support the design and drafting requirements on a range of infrastructure development projects. As a CAD Technician, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for construction and planning purposes.

You'll be responsible for:

1. Creating detailed layout plans for port infrastructure, offshore wind staging areas, berths, roads, and utilities.
2. Updating and modifying existing drawings to reflect changes or improvements in infrastructure.
3. Collaborating closely with engineers and project stakeholders to deliver accurate designs.
4. Using survey data and geotechnical reports to inform design accuracy.
5. Supporting design reviews and integrating feedback effectively.
6. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and technical specifications.
7. Organising and maintaining project files and revision histories.
8. Producing construction documentation that aligns with project needs and timelines.

This CAD Technician role requires excellent time management, technical skills, and attention to detail. You'll be expected to work independently and take full ownership of your drawings while supporting wider team objectives.

Skills & Experience:

1. 3+ years experience in a similar CAD drafting/design role.
2. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D).
3. Experience working on port, marine, civil or infrastructure projects is advantageous.
4. Excellent organisation and file management skills.
5. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
