Position
The role:
This is an exciting new role created to lead the MEP CAD model and drawing production process. The role brings together a 5 pronged approach to delivery; comprising of a core team of CAD/BIM technicians within the MEP group, drawing production and adjustments by engineers, selected internal assistance from other technical disciplines, external CAD bureau assistance, and finally contract / agency staff.
The post holder will create and lead this function with the Group leader, setting the standard for efficient high quality drawing and model production, prioritizing and delivering strategies agreed in collaboration with the Associate and Partner led management team.
The majority of work will be towards high quality 2D drawing production using Autocad MEP and the remainder within a REVIT MEP environment.
We provide client advisory services with design standards to RIBA 3 and a RIBA 4A level of detail. The strategy is to deliver high quality coordinated information for tender, coordination and third party approval purposes.
Our main operating sectors are the residential and commercial sectors, generally comprising from small to medium size projects to £75m construction value.
