Job description

Are you a Tekla expert with a passion for structural steel and buildable, real-world design? Want to be part of a growing company that values innovation, collaboration, and getting things right first time?

This is your chance to join an established engineering and fabrication business that's delivering impactful projects - working with some of the UK's most progressive infrastructure partners.

What You'll Be Doing:
  1. Creating detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings using Tekla Structures
  2. Producing accurate GA drawings, material lists and fabrication packs
  3. Working closely with project teams, engineers and fabricators to bring designs to life
  4. Making sure your work hits all the right notes with UK regulations and Eurocodes
  5. Applying DfMA thinking to make off-site builds and on-site assembly smooth and efficient
  6. Managing drawing revisions and keeping everything on track
What We're Looking For:
Must-Haves:
  • 2+ years' experience with Tekla Structures
  • Solid knowledge of structural steel detailing and fabrication
  • Familiarity with UK standards, including BS EN 1090
  • Proactive mindset, good communicator, and a keen eye for detail
Nice-to-Haves:
  • Experience with SolidWorks for bespoke components
  • Familiarity with Radan for sheet metal/CNC profiling
  • Understanding of DfMA
