CAD/BIM Technician required in London
GVR Solutions are currently working with an existing client of ours who specialise in the drylining sector. They cover a wide range of commercial fit-out projects across London and the southeast. They are looking for an experienced CAD/BIM Designer to join their well-established design team. The right candidate will be able to take a strong lead in projects and have extensive knowledge with all drywall systems.
- Be responsible for producing and setting out drawings and models for the approval of our clients whilst meeting their specification.
- Making sure all elements drawn are priced for and correct.
- Liaising with estimating / Surveyors for possible changes to contracts, pricing awareness.
- Leading weekly meetings.
- Attend project sites to compare drawings and specifications as and when needed.
- Working with strict program dates to be upheld.
- Keeping track of comments received, checking back to make sure no extras are added.
- A high amount of experience as a CAD/BIM Technician.
- Must be able to demonstrate working for a subcontractor.
- Ability to plan workload effectively to design programme.
- Ability to work on their own or as part of a design team on specific projects.
- Eye for detail and problem solving.
- Flexible in approach depending on project specific requirements.
- Strong motivation, organisation and communication skills.
- The ability to work well under pressure.
- A driven attitude.
