LOCATION - GLASGOW (onsite parking)

SALARY: (We are open to the level of individual we hire - salaries will depend on experience and may vary on location, as we are open to hiring in TAMWORTH, LONDON OR GLASGOW)

£35000 - £40000 - maybe negotiable

THIS could be your New Role -

We are looking for a capable and detail-oriented CAD Designer to support the production of civil design deliverables across a range of non-infrastructure projects, including water and wastewater treatment works.

The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Civil 3D, Revit, and ACC, with experience in delivering coordinated 2D and 3D models in a multidisciplinary environment.

You'll work closely with engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality, accurate design outputs that support efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare 2D and 3D design models and drawings for water and wastewater treatment projects.
2. Develop general arrangements, layouts, RC details, site plans, sections, and civil details using Civil 3D and Revit.
3. Work within the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) environment for model sharing, coordination, and version control.
4. Coordinate with engineers and other discipline designers to ensure integrated and clash-free models.
5. Follow internal CAD standards and contribute to the ongoing development of best practices.
6. Support project delivery by ensuring timely production and issue of design deliverables.
7. Assist with model reviews, QA/QC, and drawing package assembly for construction and tender submissions.
8. Maintain accurate records of revisions and drawing registers in accordance with project requirements.
9. Have the ability to undertake some design related tasks when required.

What We're Looking For

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a CAD design role within the water sector.
2. Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Autodesk Revit, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
3. Solid understanding of civil detailing practices relevant to water infrastructure.
4. Ability to interpret and apply engineer mark-ups, specifications, and standard details.
5. Familiarity with BIM workflows and multidisciplinary model coordination.
6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality design outputs.
7. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a project team.
8. Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks within project deadlines.
