Work Pattern: Hybrid - 1 to 2 days WFH
Salary: Up to £50K DOE

This is a RARE opportunity for a Fresh Produce Buying Assistant / Junior Buyer / Procurement Executive with 2+ years of Fresh Produce Buying experience to elevate their career to the next step!

Our client is an international Fresh Produce operation looking to enhance their UK presence within fresh produce.

If you have purchasing experience across Fresh Produce, particularly across citrus, berries & grapes, this could be the perfect opportunity to secure a pay rise, elevate your title on your CV, and take on real responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals and market demands.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers while working with existing partners across Spain & South America.
• Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends, pricing, and availability.
• Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and collaborate on improvement initiatives.
• Monitor forecast and order levels to ensure adequate supply and minimize excess or shortage.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and conditions.
