Our client, an international producer of niche parts for the vehicle industry, is looking for a Buyer to join their procurement team. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional to work within a global supply chain, managing key supplier relationships and ensuring the smooth sourcing of materials.
- Source and procure raw materials, components, and services to support manufacturing operations
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve best-value procurement
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and industry regulations
- Proven experience in a buyer, purchasing, or procurement role, ideally within manufacturing or automotive supply chains
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
