I have a great opportunity for a Buyer to join a Main Contractor on a permanent basis, based out of their East London offices.

The company has been operating for over 100 years and has an excellent reputation in the industry for their reliability and quality-focused approach, leading to a significant amount of repeat business.

They specialize in new build and refurbishment projects ranging from £1m to £20m, encompassing various sectors such as residential, commercial, healthcare, education, and heritage.

They are seeking an individual to fill a Sub-Contractor Buyer role, open to considering experienced Materials Buyers interested in transitioning to a Sub-Contractor Buyer role.

The key requirement is a proven track record in procurement with a reputable Main Contractor involved in diverse projects across multiple sectors.

Experience:

• Experienced Buyer with a strong background in Main Contracting
• Sub-Contract Buying experience is preferred, but a solid Materials Buying background will be taken into account
• Experience across various projects in multiple sectors is advantageous
• Strong commercial skills and awareness
• Demonstrated longevity with previous employers
• Ability to commute daily to East London
