As a Buyer/Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and supporting all their procurement requests. You will ensure that all requests for quotations are quoted within the stipulated timeline and work with the team to procure the required materials. Your main duties as a Buyer/Account Manager will include daily processing of RFQs on the internal SAS system, liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to identify the best pricing for materials, and researching new products and identifying new suppliers. You will also obtain pricing from potential new and existing suppliers, negotiate for the best pricing deals and establish trading terms, place orders with suppliers, and assist with expediting when necessary.
The ideal candidate for the Buyer/Account Manager role will have some knowledge of sales and procurement, excellent communication skills with a confident manner, a proactive approach to telephone calls, and good IT skills in the use of databases and Microsoft Office.
