Job Description

• Oversee and manage the procurement process for multiple subcontracts
• Analyse and evaluate bids to determine the most cost-effective supplier
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers for future subcontracting opportunities
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure supply needs are met on time
• Manage and mitigate risks related to subcontracting
• Monitor market trends to identify procurement opportunities
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes

The Successful Applicant

A successful Buyer should have:

• Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial or manufacturing industry
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices
• Ability to effectively manage multiple subcontracts
• Proficiency in procurement software and databases
