HCI Systems, established in 2012 and now part of the Prodrive group, is one of the leading providers of high-quality electrical wiring solutions. Supporting customers in various sectors from Marine, Defence, AgriTech to a core business around Motorsport & Automotive, supplying multiple high level racing series and high specification automotive style projects.

Based in Newport, Shropshire, we are looking for a Buyer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring that all purchases are made in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the procurement process for materials and components.
2. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers.
3. Monitor inventory levels and forecast material needs.
4. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure material availability.
5. Maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier performance.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Buyer or similar role.
2. Strong negotiation skills and supplier management experience.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
