An established industry player is seeking a dedicated procurement professional to join their Supplier and Contract Management Team. An excellent development opportunity has arisen within the Supplier and Contract Management Team to build on your skills working on contracts in a range of categories and sub-categories initially in the Science sub-team. You will be part of a dedicated team of procurement professionals responsible for negotiating and managing a variety of business critical commercial contracts and framework agreements for the provision of goods and services to NHSBT. You will work with the Senior Buyers, Senior Commercial Managers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage the contracts end to end, to ensure that all interested parties needs are met. You will be responsible for assisting the team managers in delivering contracts that are robust, free from risk, legally binding and importantly cost efficient and effective. Ensuring that NHSBT can demonstrate to the public through the scrutiny of internal and external audit, that it obtains best value for money on its contracted non-pay expenditure and achieves savings targets. You will ensure compliance with Public Contract Regulations including the legally mandated directives, policy notes and NHSBT Standing Orders and Financial Instructions.
