Business Travel Consultant homebased

Business Travel Consultant - Required for this Global Business Travel Company who are expanding their UK team. They are looking for experienced Business Travel Consultants who have experience using Amadeus, Galileo or Sabre to work on mixed and dedicated accounts. The role involves shifts Sunday-Thursday 8am-4.30pm (1 late shift every 2 weeks until 8pm) and offers a salary up to £28,000 dependent on experience. This is a home-based role and will require up to 2 weeks of training completed at one of the regional offices.

Business Travel Consultant Duties

1. Working with a number of corporate clients booking their worldwide travel requirements using a GDS.
2. Advising and arranging all aspects of travel and travel-related services including airlines flight bookings (scheduled, charter, and low-cost), self-drive and chauffeur-driven car hire, rail, hotel, ferries, passports, visas, health requirements, fares, foreign currency, excess baggage, plus any other products and services that clients may require.
3. Completing and issuing various travel documents including itineraries, booking forms, air, rail and ferry tickets, multipurpose documents, car hire and hotel vouchers, foreign currency, invoices, credit notes, etc., ensuring that all details are correct and presented to the client in a clear and concise manner.

Business Travel Consultant Skills Required

1. Strong background booking worldwide business travel arrangements using a GDS, having worked in Business Travel.
2. Excellent customer service skills and ability to prioritize a busy workload.
3. Ability to attend 2 weeks of training at one of the company's regional offices.
