As a Director, Business Transformation you will be responsible for the delivery of strategy, transformation, and change projects (typically managing a team of consultants and analysts), drive a sales pipeline, and contribute to the client and people growth of the practice.

Our dentsu Business Transformation (BX) practice in the UK&I exists to propel growth for brands and businesses and sits at the intersection of consulting and creativity. BX’s end-to-end expertise spans four key areas:

  3. Social Good Consulting – Aligning business growth with social impact to build shared value.
  4. Transformation Consulting – Designing and executing future-ready operating models and change strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on workstreams across Business Strategy, Marketing, Sales, and Service Transformation, and Change Management.
  • Develop and manage key client relationships, ensuring high-quality project delivery.
  • Participation in strategic new business pitches and initiatives.
  • Drive innovation and contribute to developing new strategic service offerings.
  • Work alongside junior team members to enhance team capabilities and performance.
  • Take responsibility for the financial and budgetary aspects of your projects.
  • Keeping abreast of innovations in your area(s) of expertise, actively contributing to the knowledge base.
  • Acting as a role model; you are regularly sought out after for views by peers and the wider team.
  • Contributing to a positive, diverse working environment that fosters high-quality output and coaching others on the value of collaborative working.

Professional Skills

  • 5-8 years of consulting experience with a strong background in Marketing, Sales, and Service transformation.
  • Proven experience working across change management projects.
  • Background of working at a leading Strategy House or Top Consulting firm.
  • Challenging conventional views and presenting ideas persuasively to gain buy-in.
  • Able to draw critical human and cultural insights from data and observation.
  • Able to translate strategy and strategic thinking into executable solutions.
  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A strong collaborator who can coordinate and influence a collective team-based client relationship across complex matrix structures, both internally and externally, and manage significant stakeholders and key industry relationships.
  • Confident building relationships and presenting to C-suite clients.
  • Strong business and growth acumen, including a good understanding of complex business models and trends, as well as the ability to identify and seize opportunities that move the business towards strategic goals and a track record of unlocking new business growth.
  • Strong International mindset with experience working across global/European brands in a matrix organisation.
