Salary: £160 – £240 per day

The School/Role:

I’m working with a fantastic PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) in Birmingham seeking passionate Business Teachers. The centre supports students in KS3 with challenging behaviour, offering high-quality, personalised teaching. This full-time role runs until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging business lessons that align with the curriculum and promote real-world applications.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where pupils can thrive.
• Recognise and address the social, emotional, and mental health needs of pupils.
• Work closely with counsellors, parents, and staff to provide tailored support.
• Assess pupils’ progress through activities, discussions, and feedback.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher with relevant business teaching experience
• Knowledge and experience of delivering business studies at Key Stage 3 and 4
• Experience with SEMH, SEBD needs would be beneficial
• Level 1 safeguarding certificate
• Recent school-based references
• Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
• Full DBS – on the update service
