Business Systems Manager HR, IT & General Operations - Taiko Acton

Contract: Full Time

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Contracted Hours: 40

Established in 1997 as the first manufacturer of sushi for the UK supermarket industry, Taiko has evolved into the most innovative manufacturer of Sushi, Food To Go, Prepared Meals and Snacking products in the UK, supplying Waitrose, Tesco and Sainsbury’s to name a few. Over the past 25 years Taiko has launched more first to market Sushi and Food to Go products than any other sushi manufacturer in the UK.

As a Business Systems Manager you will take ownership of the firm’s business systems, which include Finance, Production, despatch and warehouse management systems. As manager of the team, collaborate effectively with departments to ensure successful delivery of operations. Ensuring business systems are working and effectively used across all department.

  1. Take responsibility for the company core business systems, including administration, maintenance and development.
  2. Working closely with IT team, provide supervision and support as required, including agreeing their objectives and carrying out performance reviews, and ensuring deadlines and service standards are achieved and maintained.
  3. Maintain and develop relationships with external partners.
  4. Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth running of business systems.
  5. Assist in the setup, configuration and maintenance of the business systems.
  6. Working with IT service team to ensure the live production systems are operational.
  7. Take ownership of development and implementation of processes, policies and best practices relating to systems within Taiko estate.
  8. Pro-actively contribute to the continuous improvement of technology/business processes through identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes.
  9. Maintain a good working relationship with departments and technical partners including Project and IT service delivery teams.
