The key purpose of this post is to ensure statutory legal documents are current and up to date and that contact with Public Rights of Way (PROW) is dealt with effectively.
Specifically, this post will focus on offering support to the PROW team in the delivery of its statutory function. The role will include managing map-based documents, development of new systems and providing advice and guidance to third party and internal services. The role will also offer support to the PROW Officer in path diversion orders, modification orders and responding to planning application consultations.
The role will assist with customer contact ensuring that correspondence received and responses at the appropriate time by PROW staff and communicate with the Council Contact Centre as required. The post will act as the first point of contact, to ensure that calls and messages to PROW receive an appropriate response where staff or managers are unavailable. The post holder will be required to arrange meetings/rooms.
