An 'Outstanding' School in Hillingdon is looking for a Business Studies or Economics Teacher / ECT to start in April / September 2025 on a full-time, permanent contract.

This school is business-focused with previous students joining Cass Business School, LSE, and Oxbridge. As such, the school is looking for top drawer teachers to join and continue in the success of the school.

As part of a new scheme, the school has been allocated additional funding to add more teachers to each department in a bid to reduce class sizes and increase teacher wellbeing and good behaviour.

SLT at the school pride themselves on the high levels of teacher satisfaction they have achieved, throwing away the rulebook and doing everything in their power to ensure teachers can focus on teaching and learning rather than behaviour management and data drops.

Job Description

• MPS1-UPS3 - Outer London or TLR (Size depending on experience).
• April / September 2025 - Full-time and permanent contract.
• Business Studies or Economics Teacher / ECT.
• Teach across KS3, 4, and 5.
• Plan your lessons to meet the Curriculum for Excellence national guidance.
• Work with colleagues to plan and coordinate lessons.
• ECTs and experienced teachers encouraged.

Person Specification

• MUST HAVE UK QTS
• Strong understanding of teaching standards.
• Maths related degree at 1:1 or 2:1 from a reputable university.
• Ambitious and driven personality.
• Great communication skills.
• Desire to progress.
