Location: Boucher Road, Belfast
Salary: £18.91 per hour
Contract: Initially 6 months

VANRATH is proud to be recruiting for a Business Project Officer on behalf of our esteemed client, a key public service organisation based on Boucher Road, Belfast. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a dedicated team, playing a pivotal role in delivering strategic projects and supporting the organisation's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on the development and lifecycle management of business cases, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and financial plans.
• Support project planning and governance, working closely with stakeholders to prioritise and scope initiatives.
• Coordinate project resources, maintain action logs, and manage risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide training and guidance on business case preparation to promote best practices.
• Ensure post-project evaluations are conducted, incorporating learnings into future projects.

Person Specification:

• A relevant degree (e.g., Business Management, Finance) with 2+ years of experience in business case development OR a relevant HND with 3+ years of experience.
• Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Management Information Systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A valid driving licence and access to transport for official duties.
