Business Partner Communications - TATA

Contract: Temporary - 12 Months

Hours: Full Time 37hrs Per Week

Your workstyle will be a mobile hybrid worker in this role which gives you the flexibility to work from home and from a variety of Council workplaces.

About the role:

We’re looking for a comms all-rounder to join our busy Communications and Marketing team. This fixed-term position will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing communication and marketing activities, in particular for the council’s involvement in delivering the work of the Tata Transition Board.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver communication and marketing activities as the project communications and marketing service expert.
  • Work closely with project teams and stakeholders to understand project/programme objectives and develop communications strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to foster positive relationships and ensure effective communications.
  • Create compelling and accurate multimedia content for various platforms, including press releases, website updates, social media, and other communications materials.
About you:
  • Educated to degree standard or equivalent in a business or communications discipline.
  • Ability to design, deliver, and manage a full range of communication and marketing campaigns and activities.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, on own initiative, to tight deadlines, and to deal with competing priorities.
  • Outstanding IT skills and confident use of multiple platforms and content management systems.
