Job Description
The Office of the CIO Associate is part of the Office of the CIO/Chief of Staff team, which supports the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of JPMorgan Chase's Employee Platforms (EP) organization. EP, a division within JPMorgan Chase's Global Technology group, focuses on enabling, modernizing, and enhancing the productivity and experience of nearly 300,000 global employees. Our work directly impacts and improves how employees interact with technology daily. Our strategy outlines a plan for creating a more personalized, seamless, and frictionless employee experience in a rapidly changing environment. The Office of the CIO team provides planning and execution support to the EP CIO and the broader EP Strategy and Business Services function. This includes collaborating across EP on governance, executive communications, developing processes and tools for consistent management practices, and supporting transformation and culture initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Support the running of an efficient, decision-oriented governance structure and operating model
Run key leadership forums, including agenda pipeline, content coordination, speaker preparation, and managing follow-ups/actions
Coordinate and consolidate information and data flow across leadership and business enablement groups
Participate in strategic planning processes
Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement initiatives to drive enterprise change and operating model enhancements
Prepare management materials and collateral to support business decisions
Coordinate the creation of special and executive presentations (e.g. town halls, senior officers meetings, offsites, regulatory communications, CEO interactions, etc.)
Execute analysis, understand and report key business metrics, and synthesize information into actionable insights to help solve complex problems and drive business decisions
Identify, document and communicate key project risks and process gaps to appropriate stakeholders
Ability to take on increasing management responsibility and project ownership
Complete ad hoc projects in new domains, as needed
Qualifications:
Experience in a large, fast paced environment, ideally in financial services or technology, and in a chief of staff, business management, strategy and/or management consulting role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with senior management
Highly organized, detail-oriented and proactive "self-starter"
Ability to execute against multiple competing priorities and timelines
Advanced PowerPoint and Excel a must
Strong critical thinking, analytic, and problem solving skills
Strong project planning and management skills
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and partnerships
Comfort with ambiguity
Strong desire to learn new domains and skills
Experience in cross-functional teams and ability to influence people at a variety of levels
Experience with business process improvement
Knowledge of infrastructure/ cloud technology and software development a plus
