Business Manager

Business Manager | Remote Working | South of England (Flexible working with regular travel required) | 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday | £60,000 - £65,000 per annum

Our client is a UK technology company with team members based across the country. They solve through-life acquisition and support management issues for the Defence and related sectors, supporting their teams to work strategically, collaboratively and effectively to maintain and streamline the delivery of military and industrial capability.

They are seeking a Business Manager to work closely with the Board of Directors and the Heads of Departments to provide business support for all functions within the Commercial team remit, for colleagues and customers, to ensure processes in the company are appropriate and compliant with the ISO quality and information security standards. A key responsibility will be to bring knowledge and experience of the customer environment to assist with the ongoing alignment of the business with the developing digital transformation of the MOD and defence supply chain's through-life management of equipment.

Are you the right person for the job?

1. Full UK driving license
2. Deep knowledge of military equipment, expertise in defence digital transformation, and an understanding of defence equipment support processes
3. Experience of corporate marketing activities and events
4. General business administration experience
5. Excellent influencing skills
6. Exceptional organisational skills
7. Ability to work well under pressure
8. Flexible and willing to travel on company business

What will your role look like?

1. Developing wider relationships with MOD equipment support and defence digital stakeholders
2. Attending conferences and seminars covering equipment support and digital transformation
3. Establishing and growing relationships with relevant marketing partners
4. Planning and attending on-site marketing events
5. Overseeing the company's Quality and Information Security Management Systems and certification
6. Owning the quality-specific processes in the Quality Management System
7. Facilitating the smooth running of the Company Head Office
8. Owning the Company's health and Safety Policy and processes
9. Owning the Company's office administration policies
