The role

This role sits on the management team, reporting in to the General Manager. You will have responsibility for the P&L and be able to devise and implement a sustainable sales & marketing strategy to maximise consolidated profitability and long-term growth of the PTS business by further strengthening Atlas Copco's market position.

What your day to day will involve:

  1. Maximise the national output in terms of invoiced sales turnover and profit level through:
  • Establishing pricing policies
  • Discount control and promotional activities
  • Key accounts, distributors and major users
  • Ensuring an optimised product mix, giving each product its best chance in the market
  1. Plan objectives and strategies to achieve the required targets through your Area Sales Managers and service engineer
  2. Ensure there is solid product technical support established to sales engineers, support personnel and distributors
  3. Contribute to brand strategy and identify solutions to potential issues
  4. Provide marketing direction in order to enhance product profiles in the UK market
  5. Maintain communication across the management and sales teams in order to progress the business

What we expect of you

The successful applicant will be results-driven, with strong communication skills and the ability to lead and influence a diverse range of people.
Proven sales and management experience, with a competent level of technical knowledge (ideally in a related industry).
A good understanding of financials, including reporting and KPIs.
Educated to University degree or similar through experience.
