Overview

Under the direction of the Manager, responsible for overseeing computer and servicing systems for Commercial Loan Administration. Ensures that these systems are working at best capacity with ideas for future growth and upgrades, operating in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures for systems and maintenance. Keeps programs and systems operational for use by Credit Union employees. Works to setup new features and technologies, trains personnel on system utilization, and provides support and suggestions to expedite related projects. Completes assigned reports and paperwork, maintains files, and performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. Project management coordination with cross-functional areas and outside vendors and documents workflow related projects.

Responsibilities

  1. Collects data to produce reports in usable formats:
    1. Microsoft Office platforms, Excel, Word, Teams, others
    2. Tableau
    3. Crystal
  2. The development and implementation of FICS commercial loan servicing program:
    1. Assists in developing procedures, policies, and goals.
    2. Conducts ongoing reviews of existing FICS systems policies and procedures and provides suggestions to improve productivity and quality.
    3. Executes established goals and policies and ensures that the Credit Union's information needs are met.
    4. Ensures that functions are completed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
    5. Makes recommendations for updates and enhancements.
  3. Effective and timely performance and oversight of FICS, and other programs and functions related to the business area:
    1. Oversees all aspects of FICS systems.
    2. Monitors system. Adds, resets, and deletes users as necessary.
    3. Monitors system programs. Updates, installs, and tests programs daily, or as necessary. Rewrites procedures to support effective operator access and use.
    4. Prepares various documents and reports and maintains records and files.
    5. Ensures functions are completed in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures and government requirements.
  4. Maintaining professional working relations with employees, management, members, regulators, auditors, and related trade professionals:
    1. Obtains and conveys information as needed.
    2. Answers questions and resolves problems promptly and courteously.
    3. Maintains and projects the Credit Union's professional reputation.
  5. Establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination, and working relations with Credit Union personnel and with management:
    1. Provides training and support on programs and equipment to area personnel. Ensures proper workflow.
    2. Assists branches and related departments as required.
    3. Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
    4. Attends and participates in meetings as required.
  6. Other related duties as required or assigned:
    1. Keeps work area clean, secure, and well maintained.
    2. Completes special projects as assigned.
    3. Keeps up to date on new program offerings in the business lending area.

Qualifications

Training/Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent job experience preferred.
  • Required Knowledge: Business Lending and Loan both SBA and Commercial.
  • Programming and systems requirements.
  • Understanding of government retention requirements.
  • Understanding of related hardware and software operations including PCs, Windows, FICS, Imaging, Testing environments.

Experience Required:

Five years of experience working with related technical hardware and systems.
